²² Their father Ephraim mourned for them for a long time, and his relatives came to comfort him. ²³ Then he slept with his wife again, and she conceived and bore a son whose name was Beriah because misfortune had visited his family.^{[a] 24} His daughter was Sheerah. She built upper and lower Beth-horon as well as Uzzen-sheerah.
